HOW DOES “BOXCAR AUCTIONS OF THE SOUTHWEST” SELLING PROGRAM WORK FOR INDIVIDUALS THAT WANT TO SELL THEIR MODEL TRAINS AND ACCESSORIES ON EBAY
We will sell your unwanted model trains and accessories on EBAY for you. You provide the item with the items description of the model train or accessory. (We will be glad to help you with this task). We will place your model tran(s) and accessory(s) on EBAY for auction, answer all the questions, ship the model train(s) and pay you once the new owner of your model train(s) or accessory(s) has posted positive feed back for the transaction.
WHAT IS MY COST?
We only charge a 35% commission off the model train / accessory selling price for any item that sells for under $1,000. Any model train / accessory that sells from $1,000 to $2,000, our commission rate is reduced to 33%. If the model train / accessory sells between $2,000-5,000, we charge a 30% commission. All Ebay fees are paid from our commissions. There will be no additional charges for you to pay.
HOW CAN YOU KEEP YOUR COMMISSION CHARGES SO LOW?
We have been an EBAY power seller since 2008 with successful positive feedback transactions at 100% positive feed back. That positive feedback score will get you at least an additional 10-25% on the model train / accessory selling price, which will offset our commission rate. We also do not charge any add on fees. All our fees are deducted from our side once the model train / accessory sells. It takes the same amount of time and effort to successfully post and sell a less expensive model train / accessory as an expensive item, which is why we charge 35% commission on model train / accessory that sells for under $1,000. If you want to get top dollar for your model train / accessory, you will need to sell your model trains yourself, however you will have to spend your time and expense to do so.
HOW SOON DO I GET PAID?
On the average about two weeks after the item is sold. It will take a week for us to get paid and at least another week for the new owner to check out the model trains / accessories and post positive feed back to our eBay Store.
WHAT IF THE BUYER DOESN'T POST POSITIVE FEED BACK?
We will wait two weeks. If the buyer doesn't post feed back within a two week period but doesn't contest the sale, we will issue a payment to you as long as you have sales pending with us.
WHAT MUST I DO IN ORDER TO USE YOUR SERVICE?
It's a good idea to first research your model trains on Ebay to see if your item has value. If it does and you want to use our service write a description of your item and email the list to us to sell for you. We will arrange for pick up if you live in the Phoenix, AZ .
